After which he lived in Bavaria and the family continues to live there even today. It is believed that the Serve name is French and that the original Serve may have came from the Alsace area. I am of the thinking that the name may be more Latin or Roman in origin. If there is anyone out there that would have information about the Serve and their origins, I would love to hear from you.
