Does anyone have access to the 1836 census for Cantons of Bouxwiller, Drulingen, La Petite-Pierre and Sarre-Union ? I am searching for my great great grandmother, Katharine (Catharine, Katharina, Catherina etc) Leininger. I have a death record and birth records from her children but none of these give her place of birth or name of parents. She was married to Georg Cassel around 1840 and was living in La Petite-Pierre, Basrhin. until her death in 1860. Based on her age given on her children's birth records and on her death record, she was born around 1821 (+/- a year) If anyone have access to the CD of the 1836 census would you be willing to look for her there. Also if anyone has a record of her from some other source I would appreciate it. I have come across another Catherine Leininger about the same age who was married to someone else and emigrated to America. My Catherine died in La Petite Pierre so that can not be a match.
