    3. I am looking for Catharine LEININGER. She was born around 1821 (based on age listed in birth records of her children) She was married to Georg (or Johann Georg) CASSEL. They lived in the village of La Petite Pierre, Bas Rhin Alsace, FRA. Georg was born in Volksburg. I don't know where she was born. They were married around 1840 I have not found their marriage or her birth records in La Petite Pierre or Volksberg. Does anyone have the 1835 census CD for the La Petite Pierre district? If so could you look for Catherine? Has anyone come across a Catherine LEININGER that matches what I know? I suspect that she was from the hilly region around La Petite Pierre. (Krum Elsas/Alsace Bousse). The CASSELs were Protestant. They lived in the same cluster of small villages from the time when it was part of the Holy Roman Empire and not annexed by France. Thanks for any help you can give. Even a negative answer will help me figure out where to not look. Charles Laun
