    3. Hi Gloria,  Dimnet was the family name; however  I also have a an issue with the 2 names Paradise and Brenna.  This is why I hit a glitch.  Currently, I am awaiting a civil / parish record from france on  this portion of the search.  I can give you more information when I get it. I hoping it can give some answers . I will put your email aside and contact you when I get that info.  I sent out the request about 2-3 weeks ago.  I hope to get back to you with a month or so.    Karen   Karen Ann Elizabeth Kriegel OUTREACH DIRECTOR Dance Parade, Inc USA One Parade, Many Cultures. www.danceparade.org Karen@danceparade.org   331 West 57th Street, Unit 144, New York, New York 10019 U.S.A.   Karen_kriegel@yahoo.com   Dance Professionals Social Network http://dance.meetup.com/408 The Athens Dance Network / To diktuo Xopou tis Athinas http://dance.meetup.com/248 International Dance Alliancewww.meetupalliance.com/Dance_Alliance ________________________________ From: gbishida <gfb-ishida@gol.com> To: alsace-lorraine@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, October 26, 2008 11:25:42 AM Subject: Re: [A-L] surname Adolph Hello Karen, I assume you know the family probably settled in Madison Township,  Muskingham County, Ohio. In 1880 this is the only Valentine Adolph  listed in the US census. Tell us more of what you know if this is  correct. Do you know of descendants in addition to your gg aunt. What  is her name and where is she from in the US. I know that advice will  be to start in the US and this is definitely a beginning.  I'm sure  they were Protestant. Elizabeth's burial place is recorded and I  assume Valentine was buried in the same place.
