My wife's grandparents, Josef Deichler and Marguerite Spingler were married December 14, 1875, at Forbach (Alsace). Joseph Deichler was born, February 25, 1852, at Lisdorf. Marguerite Spingler was born February 28, 1859, at Klein - Rossell. After their marriage, they lived in Saint-Charles Haut. Does anyone know where Saint- Charles is located. It doesn't seem to be on any maps. Would also appreciate any information about the Deichler family that lived in the Alsace area. Joseph Deichler and his wife, Marguerite (Spingler) and their children: Gertrude, born Feb 23, 1978 Anton, born August 15, 1886 Joseph, born September 17, 1887 Peter, born October 17, 1888, and Bertha, born October 17, 1888, came to New York, USA, in 1892, and then settled in Washington County, Pennsylvania.
