Fabiio. you first of all need to find out EXACTLY where your ancstor came in Alsace or Lorraine. If there are immigration papers that he would have had to fill out they should list (hopefully) where he came from in Europe. In the U.S. we have a form that they had to fill out called Permission to Emigrate....they ask more questions and if there is is something like that tis is what you would need to start your research.
