    3. Thank you Gloria, Folbertsviller is in France now, it might have belonged to Lorraine at that time, looking at the historical milestones. Folbertsviller might have belonged to Habkirchen and I had people check there in the family books, but they could not find any Haas listed there either. The registration at Vienna says clearly that he is from "Volpertsweiler" and now I will have to look closer at births at this Folschviller! Thanks for this, have to find it on a map now and if it is in the Saargemünd area! The Haas people listed at family search are from Colmar, but unless I know the name of Jacob Haas father, I have nothing to go on. Unfortunately. Colmar is even closer to Folbertsviller, it was the German Volbertsweiler in 1763, and there are many Haas families at Colmar listed at family search. So I need the groom's parents names who may be listed at the wedding at Saargemünd, or a Family book entry giving Jacob Haass parents name to connect. I think I will ask the LDS family research center, if they have a microfilm for that time for the catholic registers at Saargemünd. Thank you so much for your effort! Good night!
