    3. I have the marriage record and birth record for Peter Kieffer and his 2 daughters from Carte des services d'archives publics ayant numérisé et / ou mis en ligne les registres paroissiaux et d'état civil<http://www.archivesdefrance.culture.gouv.fr/ressources/en-ligne/etat-civil/> but not being able to read French, German or Latin, I can't figure out how to use or read the records before 1807. I was hoping that someone could look for or explain to me how to find records on the parents of Peter Kieffer and Catherine Richert. I pretty much have the family information once they arrived in the United States and posted at http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=m-leblanc&id=I98 Thank You Monte LeBlanc ________________________________ From: Monte LeBlanc <monteleblanc21@gmail.com> To: ALSACE-LORRAINE@rootsweb.com Sent: Friday, November 16, 2012 9:26 PM Subject: [A-L] Kieffer-Richert-Steinmetz families of Uhrwiller I am researching the families of Kieffer, Richert, and Steinmetz? of Uhrwiller, The following is what I presently have: Peter Kieffer married Catherine Richert in Uhrwiller on 24 Nov 1823.
