Peter was born in Uhriller on 8 Dec 1798 and was the son of Johann Kieffer and Marguerita Steinmetz Catherine was born abt 1800 and was the daughter of Michel Richert and Elizabeth Kieffer Peter Kieffer and Catherine Richert emmigrated to the United States circa 1827-1828 with 2 daughters, both born in Uhrwiller, Marguerita b-17 Mar 1824 and Eve Catherine b-18 Jan 1826. Any information or suggestions in researching the above famlies would be appreciated.
