I received this wonderful information today from John Gilmer. It made my year! I have been searching for documentation of the location of my great great grandmother, Martha B. Brooks McDaniel/McDonald, place of death and time of death. Martha was a sister of Caleb S. Brooks, below. I knew she was in Bullock county, AL in 1870 enumerated on the federal census. Her husband remarried in 1874. We did not know where she died and when. I am forwarding this to the Pike County website for other researchers. cf Cynthia You may have the following but, if not, I knew you would be interested: From Estate of Caleb S. Brooks That Jas T.
