Posted on: Pike County, Al Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Al/Pike/1575 Surname: powell, grantham ------------------------- ronald; dont know if this is any help, but, i have a powell in my grantham line. my gt-grand father was joel herring grantham born 1843 pike co, al. he had a sister hannah adoline grantham born 1841 pike county, al. hannah adoline married a mr. hyde powell about 1859-60 in pike county , al. i have not been able to trace this man at all. but the couple was living in covington county (andalusia) 1895-1900. have picture of the two. hannah adoline died after 1920 probably in covington county. maybe this man might tie into your powell. hope it might help you. joel grantham
