They had 2 children Ola Mae Taunton McQuinn, and Charlie Taunton who was married several times. Marion drowned in Chattahoochie River, either Phenix City, Ala or Columbus, Ga prior to 1917 because after his demise Carrie married Joseph Thomas Taylor in 1917, they had the following children and he raised Ola Mae and Charlie.
