Spencer, who were married in Pike County on September 30, 1841 by James' brother William Hanchey (my ancestor). According to the 1850 Pike County census, James and Martha had a 1-year old daughter named Mary. That's pretty close to the age of your Mary Elizabeth. There were five Hanchey brothers. I was unable to find any child of any of the others with the right name and age. Since I posted my original message, I came across a wonderful book (long out of print) on the Hanchey family. If you think James and Martha might be the people you are looking for, I can send you more information.
