David was born in S. Carolina abt 1794, lived in Crawford Co., Ga. in the 1820's and came to Pike Co., Al. abt. 1838-39. His 2nd wife's name was Mary McKigney-Ludlum and I understand Mary is buried at the Methodist Church Cemetery, Louisville, Barbour County, Al. Their son, Chappell B. Self is buried at the same cemetery. Chappell was my g grandfather and of course David was my gg grandfather. Any info. on where David was buried would be appreciated. David died abt. 1859.
