His father was Thomas Roberts, born Nov.1818 in Georgia. I believe his father was william..not positive. My question is : Do you have a siblings list for your Jonn W. Roberts? There are so many coincidences in your information , that point to my family. My Roberts ancestors came to Ala. , from Georgia between 1841 and 1853. They first lived in Covington Co. and later in Pike co. All my Roberts family lived half way between Troy and Luvern , Al.....(5 to 10 miles west of Troy) I have an idea that your John might be a brother to my Thomas, who married Eliza Garrison. My Mom always told that some of our people drove a stage between Troy and Montgomery, but I had had always thought it was from the Messick or Butts side. We've always heard mention of an "Andra" Garner....probably Andrew. If you have any info about John W.'s siblings or ancestry, please , please post it. I also have a photo of a Della Redmon,from long ago, if she sounds familiar to you. I bought it at a thrift shop, and would love to get her back to her family.
