I am researching columbus churchwell/churchill my husband's great granfather who was married to carrietta hodge, charles grandaughter. I am desp seeking his parents names. All I have to go on is H churchwell possibly churchill according to the 1860 census. I have located most siblings. they were given to neighbors btween 1867 and 1870 to raise after their deaths. I do believe his mother was Jane. I also know that carietta and columuses marriage recod list him as cc churhwill. Family tells me he was chritipher columbus, however i have not seen any evidence yet. Can u help????????? thank u so much christina churchwell
