I have Desire in the 1830 Pike County census. Also there is an article in one of the books that I wrote on newspapers. It is on the sale of land belonging to the heirs of Desire in Pike and Coffee Counties. I can check some more later but have got appointments today and honors day for my son who is graduating college tomorrow so it will be next week before i can get back to it probably. I am researching Desire & Delilah (Gage) Tillman and she was listed on a Web site as being his daughter. I have not found Castereen Harrell in any census record. Given name spelled incorrectly? Did she die young? > > I have Edward Harrel (born circa 1820) living in the Tillman household in 1850 Coffee County. > > I have "Early Alabama Marriages" - Groom's Surnames Beginning with "T" and Bride's Surnames Beginning with "T" and will do lookups from the books. > > Thanks for any help given, > > Connie > > > > > ==== ALPIKE Mailing List ==== > Pike Co.
