I am a member of the Pike County Historical & Genealogical Society as are some of you. My understanding is that those responsible for bulletins are aware that they are behind, and that they have written, typed, and edited a bulletin. The last I heard it next needed to be printed and distributed. Although my "plate" is rather full, I have offered to help prepare the bulletins for mailing when they are ready. It takes a lot of dedicated people to keep a society of any kind running smoothly. The minute something goes haywire and the operation hits the bump, it takes a while to get back on the road. It is important to communicate the health of the organization so that the members are aware that there is a problem. Hopefully, the local members will rally and step up to the plate. I speak from experience.
