Nan, Go to this site and do a search for Aaron TYSON: http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/ I did a preliminary search - NO WARRANTY LAND was found, only PATENTED LAND. This site will provide the date of the patents, the legal description of the land, the amount of acreage, and the county. Generally the date of the patent is from 18 to 24 months after the patentee actually took possession of the land. The official patent and its date were affixed in Washington, D. C. Patented land was sold; Veterans of certain military service were given Warrants which entitled them to Bounty (i.e.: free) land.
