Troy Messenger 1-20-1961 Herschel Lawson Passes After Heart Attack W. Herschel Lawson of Barstow, California, formerly of Josie in Pike County died January 19 in a hospital after suffering a heart attack. He is survived by his widow of Barstow: four sisters, Mrs. A. J. Long, Hampton, Virginia: Mrs. Edward Beauchamp, Detroit, Michigan: Mrs. Michael Labick, Lavonia, Michigan: Mrs. Finlay MacQueen, Birmingham, Michigan: several nieces and nephews. Burial will take place in Detroit, Michigan. He has many relatives and friends in Pike County who will regret to hear of his death. He was the nephew of Misses Lola, Vera, and Minnie Lawson: Mrs. Rosalle L. Green and Mrs. Imogene Pickett of Troy. **Note** Not my line just sharing
