Troy Messenger 3-22-1961 P.T. Grimes Dies Wednesday Pearlie Thomas Grimes age 63 of Troy, Route 2 died in a local hospital Wednesday. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Effie Crenshaw Grimes, Troy, Route 2; three sons, Thomas L. Grimes of Panama City, Florida; Ovie Dee Grimes of Troy, Route 2; John Oree Grimes of Troy, Route 2; one sister, Mrs. Barney Carroll, Troy, Route 2; one brother, Clemmie Grimes, Opp; six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at three o'clock at Union Springs Primitive Baptist with Elder J.P. Morgan officiating.
