Troy Messenger 8-9-1961 Funeral Services Held Wednesday For A.A. Carroll Funeral services were held Wednesday for Alpha A Carroll age 78 of Brundidge. Mr. Carroll passed away on Monday. Services were held at St. John's Baptist Church with Rev. J.E. Plant and Rev. Doc McCullough officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Jackson Funeral Home directing. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ada Carroll, Brundidge; two sons, Eddie Claude Carroll, Troy, and Joe Carroll, Athens, Georgia; three daughters, Mrs. Grady Zigler and Mrs. Jack Remund, both of Jack and Mrs. Sarah Wyborny, Enterprise; a sister, Mrs. Joe Bragg of Troy; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. ***NOTES*** Alpha Amego Carroll b. 10-8-1882 d. 8-7-1961 s/o Madison Jeff Carroll & Sarah Jane Boutwell.
