    1. [AL-PIKE] Doherity Winfield Sellers and Mary Matilda Dykes- Need Help!
    2. Looking for this family that is not in the 1880 AL Census: Doherity Winfield Sellers (11/13/1848-02/28/1925) married at Perote, Bullock County, on 12/09/1869 by William Galloway, a primitive Baptist preacher to Mary Matilda Dykes (07/30/1848-11/07/1895). Winfield Sellars and Mary are in the 1870 Perote, Bullock Co., AL Census on page 63. Can not find them in the 1880 AL Census. I need for SAR a document or census record listing his children by Mary Matilda Dykes. Their first child was Martha Sophronia Sellers. John Greathouse (10/22/1861-01/29/1912) married 12/09/1888 Martha Sophronia Sellers (04/30/1871-01/28/1930). An early pioneer, Doherity "Winfield" Sellers was born November 13, 1848 near the Perote, Bullock County, Alabama homestead of his grandfather, Samuel Sellers. Doherity "Winfield" Sellers was the eighth child of Elisha Hugh Sellers (08/04/1807-01/31/1883) who was born in Brunswick County, North Carolina, died in Troy, Pike County, Alabama, married 03/20/1834 to Harriett Thomas (12/08/1815- 09/14/1881) born in South Carolina and died in Pike County, Alabama. Does anyone have a family bible, obit or any document that list his children? Thanks ever so much for your help. Pat Greathouse
