I am looking to find the Marriage of Franklin B. Youngblood to Elizabeth Jones in 1892. Can someone do a lookup? How far back does the county have records? Can I get the courthouse address? I was kinda surprised that the Rootsweb Pike Co webpage didn't have this info on it. Hope someone out there can help. Natalie

Hi, Just saw you request for a marriage record from Pike Co., Alabama. I know the frustration trying to get any information from this county off the web. I also had a problem trying to find marriage records but there is a kind lady named Catherine at uliepins@p-c-net.net that came to my rescue. She has books in her home that has these very old records. I sent her my name(s) with what I thought was the probable year(s) of marriage and she looked them up. Found two of mine for sure. Hope this can be of help to you. Maybe you would like to join me in writing a letter to the Pike Co. Genealogical Society (can get address off the web) and encourage them to make this available to many people by putting it in a web site. Good luck, hope you can get your date.
