Troy Messenger 9-29-1961 Herbert Folmar Dies Thursday Herbert M. Folmar Sr. 68 of Brantley died Thursday. Funeral services were 3 pm Friday from Mount Zion Baptist Church the Rev. Travis Hitt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, Turner's Funeral Home directing. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Merle Stroud Folmar, Brantley: six daughters, Mrs. Joe Knighten, Mrs. Dallas Pickard and Mrs. Morris Mount all of Brantley: Mrs. Julius Mount and Mrs. Earl Patterson both of Phenix City: Mrs. Bob Witherington, Troy: three sons, Herbert Folmar, Jr., Phenix City: Lamar Folmar, Dothan: Kenneth Folmar, Brantley: three sisters, Miss Maggie Folmar and Miss Bertha Folmar both of Troy: Mrs. Charles Gregory, Sarasota, Fla. 18 grandchildren. **Note** Not my line just sharing
