Troy Messenger 5-29-1961 Mrs. Annie Burks Dies Sunday In Troy Hospital Mrs. Annie Turner Burks age 75 of Linwood Route 1 died Sunday in a Troy hospital. Funeral services will be at 11 am Wednesday at Concord Primitive Baptist Church at China Grove. Elder Gilbert Walker will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with McGehee Funeral Home in charge. The body will be at home until time for the funeral. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Alma English, Linwood Route 1: Mrs. W. T. Turner of Troy: Mrs. Sara Glaze, Sweetwater, Tennessee: Mrs. Louise McKee, Montgomery: six sons, F. B. Burks, Lyons, Kansas: Curtis Burks, Linwood Route 1: Turner Burks, Troy: James Burks, Birmingham: Vernon Burks, Amarillo, Texas: Albert Burks, Orlando, Florida: several grandchildren and great-grandchildren: three sisters, Mrs. Easter McKenzie, Birmingham: Mrs. Ella Tamplin, Cedartown, Georgia: Mrs. A. C. McCall, Union Springs: four brothers: Rufus Turner, Jesse Turner and Morris Turner all of Birmingham: Elbert Turner, Pacific Grove, California. **Note** Not my line just sharing
