Nancy Huggins b. 1803 SC William Huggins was Nancy's brother.My 2 gr.grandmother was a daughter of John T. Jackson and Nancy Huggins Manning. Their daughter Nancy Ann b. 1840 Marion SC m. James Lorenzo Manning b. 1837, the son of Wm. Hampton Manning b. 1800 in NC lived in Butler AL in 1830,1840 census-in Pike by 1850 and had m. Nancy Deason-he age 50 in 1850-she only 30. He d. in 1866 and left a large family of small children. William Huggins and William A.C.Gibson administered the estate with William Gibson being their guardian.When John T. Jackson d. about Nov of 1870, the heirs were son James H Jackson, Emmiline who had m. George A. Coker,Feby Ann who had m. Adam Seay(See,Sea), Nancy who m. James Lorenzo Manning(mine) and Lorenzo Bryan b. 6 May 1848. I would like to learn the name of John T. Jackson & Nancy Jackson's daughter, who m.Lorenzo Bryan; I did not know of him until I obtained the Estate papers of John T. Jackson.She was not in the 1850 Pike Al Census.James H. Jackson their son m. Sarah Jackson. All of these people lived at Milo, below Springhill, and about 8 miles below Troy. James H Jackson was in the Civil War, as was James Lorenzo Manning. After the Civil War, Emmeline Coker and husband moved to Bossier Parish,LA, my Nancy & James Lorenzo Manning moved to Holmes Co. FL. I am anxious to learn the name of LORENZO BRYAN's wife. According to information in the Church of the Latter Day Saints, Lorenzo's father was John Bryan-mother Eliz.Gibson.
