Ron, The Clarissa Hooten who was married to Matthew T. Hall after his wife, Mary's, death was her younger sister, who had the same name as her mother. They soon moved to Hunt County, Texas. I have much information about this family, but I still have some questions about the life of the Hooten family during the 1860's in Alabama. Thanks for any information you may have.
