They are listed as living in China Grove, Alabama (Pike County) before the War Between the States. Wm. Lloyd was in the 17th Alabama, Company I. Both were born in Georgia. Believe that Frances' father and mother were Elias DeVore and Elizabeth Adams DeVore. This Head Family moved to northeast Louisiana after the war. (Other Head kin , Andrew Head and Melinda Sessions Head, had gone to La. before this part of the family did.)
