James Bean is the son of Eli Leatherwood who is a brother to my great grandmother Nancy Mariah(Mary)Leatherwood who married Queen Goodson in Pike County, AL. Eli M. married Frances Evie ? and they resided in Pike County. Eli's father was Ira W.Leatherwood, my gg-grandfather. Ira W father was William. I really try harder research on the Goodson's and my grandfather's name was John Bean Goodson. Strange I see this name Bean keeps popping up so I'm wondering the connection for the name Bean and where and who it came from in the past families. Maybe a last name somewhere is going to connect.
