Brazil - Pike Co., AL Sec 5 T8N R22E / / / I am looking for the Brazil family that took in Harrell Brazil Gandy around 1912/15 as a foster child. Harrell had an older brother, John Authur Gandy b. 1909. They were children of Authur Newell Gandy, b. 1881/Chilton Co., AL and Carrie [Mary?] Harrell, b. c1889. Carrie died at child birth in 1912. This Brazil family lived in or near Brundidge. Would appreciate any leads. Harrell married Ethel Ramage in Brundidge. My Gibson family lived in and around Spring Hill and Troy. My gg grandfather,James Milton Gibson, m. Mary Simmons c1832/33 in Pike Co., d/o Isaac Simmons and Elizabeth Fowler. Mary died at child birth in 1841. I believe Mary's sister, Jane Catherine Simmons, married William Asa Gibson c1851/Pike County. Would you know of these Simmons? Thanks, Anita G. Kellum
