Brooks on Dec. 29, 1870; Dannie or Donnie Cook married J. E. Tomberlin on Dec. 14, 1899; Sarah M. Cook married W. A. Tomberlin on March 30, 1884; Mary E. Cook married L. M. Harrell on Nov. 8, 1882. Will of John E. Cook, et al. Joint Owners Book 2 pgs 425-427 Barbour Co., AL. His will was probated in Barbour Co., AL. on Jan. 24, 1872. John E. Cook's parents were John and Charity Turner who married in Pulaski Co., GA. July 1, 1819. I have tried to find a connection of John E. Cook to James Cook who appears in Pike Co., AL. records living at Monticello during the period 1830 to 1840. If you find such a connection, please contact me. james.davis@celebration.fl.us.
