The first wife of my step-g-grandfather, Pinkney Oliver "Pink" Sims,was Dillie Ellafair Golden b. 07 Sep 1880 - d. 24 Nov 1922 in Butler County. Pink and Dillie lived in Pigeon Creek, Butler Co., which is just a few miles from Crenshaw County. They had five daughters, all of whom are still living, ages 84-94. They called my g-grandmother, Minnie Pearl (Boswell) Taylor Sims, mother. She died in 1942.
