She was the daughter of Rev. Enoch Marvin Price and wife Lenore or Nora. She was a friend of Sybil Beasley when they were children. My father was Sybil's youngest brother. He remembers Sybil and Elly Mae coming in from school one afternoon when he was young and they were teens. They were playing the radio in Sybil's room and when the new Glen Miller recording of "Lil Brown Jug" came on, Elly Mae began laughing hysterically. My Dad says he will never forget how much she laughed over that song. Elly had several brothers some of whom were: Leon born abt. 1902 Stephen born abt 1905 Levon born 1908 a sister Eunice born abt. 1916
