Folks, I am researching a Wood family who was on the 1860 Milo P.O., and 1866 Pike County census. On the 1866 census one soldier listed as killed in the War. In the 1880 Coffee Co., Ala. census Elizabeth, age 70, born in S.C., is living with daughter, Margaret Howers (Howard/Howells?) Nearby lives Calvin Stinson. ......In one of Susie Senn's books, "Civil War News", on pages 180-181 a James Wood is listed as "wounded" (possibly James R. Wood). Any help one can give would be extremely appreciated and reciprocated.....Willie in California The family was, Ferguson Wood, born about 1810 in S.C. died after 1851 in Ga. or Alabama.
