Taken from the Independent American newspaper Pike Co. AL: July 22, 1857: Died - On the 13th. inst, John Strom an estimable citizen of this county. Does anyone have any further information about John Strom. I believe his sister may have been Elizabeth Strom who was married to Stephen Terry. She was living near John Strom in 1850 Pike Co. census.
