Griffin practiced in Birmingham. Nicholas W. Griffin was born in SC in 1842 while his son was born in 1868 and was alive in the 1930's. Whether they died in Troy, I don't know, I do know that they were there in the 1880 Federal Census. Other Griffin children were: Mary E. born about 1871, Henry C. born about 1876 and Erin Goborough Griffin born about 1878. I am hoping some Griffins in Troy might be descended from them.
