He was to have been from PA. ( I haven't found anything to prove this ), he married Rebecca Hilburn, they had one son born:1840( Henry Francis Jefferson Mills )and one daughter born:1838 ( Malissa Ann J. "Annie"). He died on a business trip to Milton Florida around 1840, (while Rebecca was pregnant with Henry). The son Henry, married Lucinda Floyd...Annie married Henry Berry O'Neal. Both children died the same year 1925. After Columbus died, Rebecca remarried to a Willis Smith and had one daughter "Telatha Smith" I have other info about the Mills family...but cannot find out any thing about this Columbus Mills. Henry and Lucinda had several children and named one of their sons Columbus also...so it's very confusing. Thanks, Yvonne [email protected]
