G.W. Simmons, Melissa, Gracey (or Grace), Mary, or a Betty? I have a letter written April 15th, 1866 (or 1860) from Prattville, AL to his "Aunt." He never refers to his "Aunt" by her first name, but he does refer to his Aunt Gracey, Mary and Betty and his cousin Melissa. I am trying to find out the name if this "Aunt" who the letter was to. I think G.W. was serving int he Civil War at the time he wrote this letter. Thank you! Kim
