There are two ultimate goals for my research: (1) Collect as much information as possible about Lamar to write Lamar's life story and (2) Locate Lamar's family (there has been some discussion to honor Army Paymasters and Finance Corps soldiers who died while serving their country during the Finance Corps Regimental Week and Banquet in May 2007). Any information collected will be part of a book I'm putting together for the Finance Corps and added to my web site (www.military-heroes.com). The Finance Corps would like to know more about their heroes instead of just a name and date of death. THANKS!! Richard
