    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/QU.2ADI/49.2 Message Board Post: My great grandfather was James Champion Mathews who married Nancy Elizabeth White. Oatis Mathews was my great uncle. My grandfather was Baker Webster Mathews, who was born March, 1880. He was a brother to Oatis (Uncle Oat). My father was Charlie Webster Mathews, now deceased. I have a good bit of information on the Mathews side. Please email me so we can communicate with each other. James Champion Mathews fought in the Civil War from Pike County, Alabama. He is buried at Hope Well church in Pike County along with his wife Elizabeth, Uncle Matt, Uncle Oat and I can't remember the others buried there as I have not been there in a couple of years. It is about a 30 minute drive from our house. I also know Uncle Matt's children, that is, who they were because they are all deceased now. Kindest Regards, Jimmy Mathews 200 Monticello Drive Troy, Alabama
