HI, While going through some old e-mails, I found yours. I know I never did reply to it. I do not do Hamm research but do Thomas searches. I have this on Hamm: M. Etta Thomas b 1888 m Van Buran Hamm July 30, 1913, Pike Co. Al. bk/pg U/229; b 1888 d 1948. B & d of Van Buran Hamm from Al. Hist Q Vol. XXXV pg 160. M. Etta Thomas Hamm buried Good Hope Cem Pike Co Al. It appears that Van Buran had a sis. who married James Wiley Thomas. Van Buran was 25 yrs old and M. Etta was 24 yrs old when married. Married by J.
