L. D. Crow was married to Nancy Roberts, daughter of Jesse Roberts and Margaret McCorkle. He owned land in Milo, south of Troy, before the Civil War. Adjacent land owners were Jesse Roberts, John P. Gibson and Berry Lambert. W. L. D. died as a prisoner of war in Camp Chase, OH in Feb. 1865. Nancy married John P. Gibson in 1868 and, after John's death, married Berry Lambert about 1875 in Erath County, TX. Could anyone do look ups of land records and probate files in the Troy Courthouse for me.
