Isaac Kirksey (1796) was my gg grandfather. He came to Pike County from South Carolina in the early 1830s and he and his wife Elizabeth and several children are listed in the 1850 Pike County census. We believe his wife was Elizabeth Herring. One of his sons, Jacob Irvin (1836), was my g grandfather. I think his parents were Edward Kirksey (c. 1770) and Wineford Youngblood (c. 1770), but I do not have proof. I would appreciate receiving any information that might help me learn more about the parents of the Pike County Isaac Kirksey (1796). Elbert J.
