I have not been able to find a death record for my William Anderson. Do you have any more details about yours? Could he have been married twice? I have run into a dead end with this research.My William Anderson does show up in the 1900 census for Bullock County, Union Springs, AL as b. Jan 1874, 26 years old, married 6 years, born AL, parents born AL, black, wife Lucy Anderson, son John W. Anderson, age 12. (I do not believe John W. was his son.) William is listed as "dark mulatto" in his Spanish War records, and I have copies of those.He is supposed to have died in 1908.
