Troy Messenger 6-21-1961 Josh H. Ammons Dies Monday At Residence Josh H. Ammons age 46 died at his residence 1005 S. Brundidge St. Monday night. Funeral services will be held at South Side Baptist Church Thursday at 3 pm with Rev. Fred Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery with McGehee Funeral Home in charge. The body will lie in state at the church from 2 until 3 pm and will be at the Funeral Home until that time. Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Inez J. Ammons: a daughter, Miss Billie Love Ammons: a son, Josh Ammons: mother, Mrs. W. J. Ammons all of Troy: two sisters, Mrs. Glen Roling, Troy: Mrs. Curtis Wilkes, Jack: and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Jerry Spurlock, Billy Kilpatrick, C. M. Riddle, Fred McVay, Dan Harris Sr.: Murry Jones, Horace Williford, Willie Jarreau. Honorary pallbearers will be Corley Chapman, Grady Ingram, L. B. Kilpatrick, Dr. William P. Stewart and members of the City Street Department. **Note** Not my line just sharing
