Hi, Do you have any information on the Asa Peugh and James Peugh? Asa married my great grandmother Liddie Drain on 10-23-1890 in Marshall Co. Ala. James Peugh witnessed the marriage. I have a copy of his marriage licence. James Peugh married Sarah M. Bryant on 12-1891 in Marshall Co. Ala. Asa Peugh had a son of this union, which is my grandfather John Chapman Pugh born 9-3-1891. These were the only Peugh's in Marshall Co. at that time with this spelling and James Peugh with his brother. When I found your info and the Peugh line by Warren Williams, I know I have the right family line. Went to Ala. Archives in Montgomery last month and I found this. I live in Metairie, La. which is suburb of New Orleans. Hope you can help with any of this. I got a copy of the 1880 census and it show Asa Peugh with a wife named Sarah. Asa was living next door to William Peugh his dad and Sarah his mom with brothers and sisters. Do you have any info on Asa's wife Sarah? What happened to her or w! hat happened to Asa?
