Troy Messenger 5-1-1961 Funeral Service Planned For Joseph Head Funeral services for Joseph Thomas Head age 70 will be Tuesday at 11 o'clock at St. John's Baptist Church near Tarentum with Dr. john Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with McGehee Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state at the church from 10 to 11 o'clock. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Joseph Thomas Head, Troy: three daughters, Mrs. Sam Barns, Opelika: Mrs. John W. Ellis, Ashville and Miss Ann Head, Troy: four sons, Harold Head, Troy: Davis Head, Statesboro, Ga.: Lt. Joe M. Head, Burton, S. C.: Hillis Head, Columbus, Nebra.: six sisters, Mrs. J. T. Harris and Mrs. Tommy Craft both of Troy: Mrs. W. T. Davidson, Goshen: Mrs. John D. Croskrey, Springhill: Mrs. Harry Cowell, Montgomery: Mrs. Alice Wilson, Chicago: two brothers, Tarrott Head, Ensley and Leslie Head, Orlando, Fla. Active pallbearers will be George Green, Talman Synco, Dan Reeves, Wilmen Furlow, W. T. Stone, Edwin Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Synco, W. C.
