The Pike Co Historcal & Genealogical Society's "Pike County Alabama Tomb Records II,1996 & the 1st one from The Alabama Historical Quarterly w/Tomb records have really saved me from so much more searching. I knew my mom & dad,uncles,grandparents,etc.were buried @Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery cause I attended 3 funerals there myself,but since Pike co isn't online even though they are listed I couldn't access anything to prove this,since I didn't have any of the obits,etc.,but thanks to The minister & his wife(Mr.& Mrs Sanders) that I called & they put me in touch with Mr.J.C.Harden who knew all my relatives & had been pastor @Ramah, he told me about the books mentioned above & I sent him a check & he had them mailed to me in Ponca City,OK. I stay in contact w/the Sanders by email & send cards & notes to the Harden's. I'm really grateful for Rootswebb & all their great resources. I located:Waltman's/William(Mack) & Ruby Jane(Lindsey)Waltman,my parents. E.T(Tip)Waltman,my uncle & uncle Neb Waltman's infant son's grave in these books + my grandfather, John H.Lindsey,his 1st wife Mary Jane Finger,& their dau.Willie Lois Lindsey+ 2nd wife my grndmthr:Allie Jane(Turner)Lindsey & uncles Walter H.Lindsey,Fred Lee Lindsey+ my aunt Missouri(Turner)Renfroe,her husband Quitman Renfroe & most of their kids.Missouri is sis/o Allie(Turner)Lindsey,Minnie(Turner)Green & not sure yet if Lee Grant Turner or Monroe Turner is brother or dad. Have to research that more. Fred Lee Lindsey's wife Cora Lee(Jordan)Lindsey just died July 3rd,2001 in Columbus,Muscogee Co Ga & I'm pretty sure she's buried in the Lindsey plot w/Fred @Ramah.
