Adams is below: ELECTION NOTICE There wil be an election held in Troy, on the 1st Monday in Feb. next, for the purpose of electing an Intendant and four Councilmen, for the incorporation of the town of Troy. I hereby appoint as Managers of said election, A.A. Griffin, I.B. Smith, and N.E. Adams. Jan. 25, 1861 Bird Fitzpatrick, P.J. Which Simmons are you researching? There is a reference to possibly 5 different Simmons in this book. There is also the one of Martha Skinner (not any info) just thanking her for a sample of syrup that she made from the pulp of watermelon. The other Skinners that have some type of mention in an article are Jonathan J. and a W.R. Skinner. The only other 2 Adams that are referenced are Barbary and a Benjamin. Janas
